The Kumara Parvatha Trek is one of the many great opportunities that Coorg provides to trekking enthusiasts. Standing tall at a height of 1712 m, this is the second-highest peak of Coorg and boasts of being the sixth highest peak of Karnataka. Kumara Parvatha is also known as Pushpagiri. It is the highest peak of Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary and located in the Western Ghat area of Karnataka. The exact location is Somwarpet Taluk which is 20 km away from Somwarpet. The Kumara Parvatha strongly tests your endurance. This trek is considered to be of moderate difficulty, with parts of the trek being steep and the others maintaining a gradual incline. This adventure trek ideal for a weekend getaway from Bangalore, for those looking for an adventure in Coorg, away from their daily lives.
During the trek, you will be staying in camps on multiple sharing bases. Revel in the sheer joy of camping in the mountains, and enjoying a cozy bonfire and swapping stories around it! You may also enjoy the comforts and luxuries of staying in dormitories on multiple sharing bases if the weather does not permit camping out in the wild.

ITINERARY
DAY 1- RIDE FROM BANGALORE TO KUKKE SUBRAMANYA
*On Friday night get picked up from the pick-up locations.
*Have dinner before boarding the vehicle.
*Begin your overnight journey to Kukke Subramanya.
DAY 2- TREK TO KUMAR PARVATHA
*Reach Kukke Subramanya in the morning.
*Freshen up in hotel rooms, have self-sponsored breakfast, and take the packed lunch.
*We will leave any extra luggage in the Vehicle.
*Reach the starting point of the trek and start the trek to Girigadde, which will lead to our camping site near the forest check post.
*After reaching the forest check post, start pitching your tents.
*Have your packed lunch and relax for some time.
*Enjoy the sunset from Girigadde`s viewpoint and have tea at Buttermane.
*By 7.30 PM have dinner at the Buttermane which will be self-service.
*By 9:00 PM retire for the night.
STAY TYPE
*For this exciting adventure, you will be staying in a tent.
*Please note you will have to carry the tents and sleeping bags to the provided to you!
MEALS
*For the first day, we will provide you with lunch and dinner.
*For the second day, we will provide you with breakfast lunch.
*All meals provided will be vegetarian, healthy, and nutritious and will comprise of Indian cuisine
