About The Event
Kumaraparvatha :: Pushpagiri or Kumara Parvatha, at 1,712 metres, is the highest peak in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats of Karnataka.
Kumara parvatha is second highest peak in Coorg district (Karnataka state) after Tadiandamol peak. Trekking starting point is Kukke Subramanya. Famous Kukke Subramanya temple is located in Subramanya village. The trail has most stunning escapes of nature enclosed by flora and fauna on either side.

ITINERARY:: 1 trek distance - 26kms (Total)
DAY 0: Overnight journey to Kukke.
DAY 1: Early morning freshen up and a light breakfast, start the trek 6.30 AM TREK STARTING POINT (KUKKE TEMPLE) TO BATTARA MANE (10.30 AM) START FROM BATTARA MANE (11.30 AM)
EXPLORE PEAK and head to KP peak, with a spectacular sunset, night have dinner at bhattaramane and retire for the day.
DAY 2:
Wake up 5.30 am desend back to Kukke Subramanya and have breakfast and reach Chennai on Monday 5.00am
ACCOMMODATION: TENTED WITH SLEEPING BAGS PROVIDED.
ITINERARY:: 2 trek distance - 14kms (Total)
DAY 0: Overnight journey to Somwarpette.
DAY 1: Early morning freshen up and a light breakfast, start the trek 8.30 AM .
REACH 1.00PM, EXPLORE PEAK and have lunch.
3.00pm : Start descending base camp & back to homestay
Night dinner at homestay followed by campfire.
DAY 2:
Wake up 7.30 am head to Mallali waterfalls & back to Chennai.
Reach Chennai 5.00am on Monday
ACCOMMODATION: HOMESTAY.
COST INCLUDES:: Transportation non AC vehicle, forest dept. charges, Basic 1st aid, Coordinator charges, 2 Breakfast, lunch & dinner, (veg food only)
Things to carry : Torch, personal medications, sunscreen, Hat, 2 litres of water. Extra pair of socks and clothes. Backpack, shoes, Energy Chocolates/Snacks. ID proof.
#Campfire is prohibited as its an Eco sensitive area.
