Sinquerim Beach & Sinquerim Fort - The scintillating Sinquerim Beach is an excellent shoreline that has a fabulous extend of sand and it is also one of the best North Goa places to visit. The Sinquerim Fort is an extension of the Aguada Fort which is a well preserved and maintained seventeenth-century fort situated in Bardez in North Goa, India. The Sinquerim Fort stands tall overlooking the Arabian sea and divides the shoreline into two equal parts. The fort was built in 1612 by the Portuguese to guard against the Dutch and the Marathas.
Fort Aguada - At one point in time, this formidable and impregnable Portuguese fort in India still has crumbling ramparts which talk of the majestic times. It overlooks the vast breathtaking imposing Mandovi River confluence with the Arabian Sea. The fort offers a great view to the visitors of Goa. Fort Aguada is one of the best places to visit in North Goa.
