About The Event
We are delighted to invite you to a special evening heritage walk at Qutub Minar, curated by Darwesh Heritage Walks in collaboration with Sabhyata Foundation.
Experience the magic of one of Delhi most iconic monuments as it transforms at dusk when the Qutub Minar complex is beautifully lit and wrapped in an almost timeless charm.
This walk takes you through the story of Delhi first capital at Mehrauli, tracing the rise of the Tomars and Chauhans, and the arrival of the Delhi Sultanate under the early Turko Afghan rulers. As the evening sets in, the illuminated ruins, soaring minar, and intricate carvings create a truly immersive atmosphere perfect for experiencing history not just as a narrative, but as a living, breathing space.
During this walk, we will explore:
The origins of Delhi earliest city at Mehrauli
The political transitions from Rajput to Sultanate rule
The architectural brilliance of the Qutub complex and its symbolism
The stories hidden in its mosques, pillars, and inscriptions
Join us for an unforgettable evening of storytelling, history, and exploration where the past comes alive under the soft glow of lights.
We look forward to having you with us.
