
South Madras Cultural Association (SMCA), one of Chennai’s oldest and most vibrant cultural organisations, proudly presents its 47th year of Sharodotsav celebrations. This year, for the very first time in Chennai, experience a Rural Bengal–themed Durga Puja – a grand celebration that recreates the soulful ambience of Bengal villages.
The 5-day festival brings together devotion, tradition, art, music, food, and cultural performances, making it one of the largest and most awaited community events in the city. Visitors will be immersed in the beats of the dhak, Baul singers, Chhau & Bohurupi artists, and the collective spirit of festivity.
