A. K. Sajan is an Indian screenwriter and director who mainly works in the Malayalam film industry. In a career spanning over two decades, he has penned the screenplay for several successful films like Butterflies (1993), Kashmeeram (1994), Meenathil Thalikettu (1998), Chinthamani Kolacase (2006) and Nadiya Kollappetta Rathri (2007). Besides these, he has also directed a handful of films, the most notable among which are Stop Violence (2002), Asuravithu (2011) and Puthiya Niyamam (2016). His 2017 directorial venture includes the Telugu family drama movie Vasuki starring Nayanthara and Mammootty in the lead roles. His 2019 release includes Neeyum Njaanum.
