K. J. Yesudas is an Indian Carnatic musician and film playback singer. Yesudas is famous for his unique voice and sings Indian classical, devotional and cinematic songs. He has recorded more than 70,000 songs in multiple languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali and more. Yesudas sung his first song, Jaathi Bhedam Matha Dwesham in 1961. Yesudas is married to Prabha and his son Vijay Yesudas is also a playback singer.
