An award-winning cinematographer, K.K. Senthil Kumar primarily works in the south Indian film industry, especially in Tamil and Telugu cinema. An alumnus of FTII (Film and Television Institute of India), Pune, Senthil Kumar made his film debut with Aithe in 2003. Post his debut film, the cinematographer collaborated with one of the most commercially successful directors in Telugu cinema, S.S. Rajamouli for films like Sye (2004), Chatrapati (2005), Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) all of which were commercial blockbusters. His stellar work in Eega earned him his maiden SIIMA Award for Best Cinematographer. His 2017 releases include Baahubali: The Conclusion and Meesayau Murukku, a Tamil-language romantic musical starring Adhi, Aathimika, and Vivek. His 2018 release includes Vijetha.
