Kanwaljit Singh is an Indian actor, who has worked in the Hindi and Punjabi film and TV industries. His first credited acting role came in director Yusuf Naqvi`s Shankar Hussain (1977). Kanwaljit`s prominent Hindi movies include Satte Pe Satta (1982), Ashanti (1982), Bhavna (1984), Marhi Da Deeva (1989), Saugandh (1991), Maachis (1996), 15 Park Avenue (2005), MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar (2007), Rustom (2016) and Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016). His well known Punjabi movies include Jee Aaya Nu (2003), Asa Nu Maan Watna Da: In Search of Our Roots (2004), Mannat (2006), Dil Apna Punjabi (2006), Mummy Punjabi: Superman Ki Bhi Maa!! (2011) and Chauthi Koot (2016).

Kanwaljit has also starred in classic Indian TV shows like Param Veer Chakra (1988) and Buniyaad (1987-1988). In 2017 he starred in director Tigmanshu Dhulia`s historical drama, Raag Desh. The cast also includes Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Mohit Marwaha, Alexx O`Nell and Vijay Verma. He has made a special appearance in the 2018 Hindi history-thriller Raazi directed by Meghna Gulzar. In the same year, he appeared in the drama movie Phir Ussi Mod Par Talaq. His other releases include Shimla Mirchi (2020), Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar (2021) and Sardar Ka Grandson (2021).
