R. Sundarrajan is an Indian director, actor and writer for Tamil films. All through 1980s and 1990s, he directed several films and then started appearing as an actor more often. He is considered to be one of the finest directors in the Tamil film industry. Some of the films directed by him are Payanangal Mudivathillai(1982), also his debut directorial, En Jeevan Paduthu(1988), Kunguma Chimil(1985), Purusha Lakshanam(1993), Enakku 20 Unakku 18(2003) and Chithirayil Nilachoru(2013). As an actor he has appeared in many films, some of which are Pondatti Rajyam(1992), Rasa Magan(1994), Suryavamsam(1997), Simmasanam(2000), Enakku 20 Unakku 18(2003), Chandhamama(2013), Lingaa(2014) and Naanum Rowdydhaan(2015). He will be next seen as an actor in Oru Naal Iravil which is releasing in December 2015.
