Associated with Tamil film industry, film producer S. R. Prakashbabu started off as an executive producer at Studio Green in 2006 and was credited for films like All in All Azhagu Raja (2013), Biriyani (2013), Madras (2014) and Komban (2015).

Meanwhile, he established his maiden production named Dream Warrior Pictures along with his brother S. R. Prabhu and produced films such as some of the major box office hits such as Saguni (2012), Kaashmora (2016), Joker (2016) and Aruvi (2017). His 2019 releases include NGK, Raatchasi and Kaithi. Prakashbabu`s 2021 project includes Sulthan, an action-drama film directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan.
