A certified chemical engineer and MBA, Y.G. Mahendran is a Tamil theater and movie actor who has been a part of the entertainment industry for over four decades. While in his teens he toured with his father`s theater group, United Amateur Artists, which sparked his interested in acting. During his four-decade-long career, the actor was seen in movies such as Hey Ram, Irandam Ulagam, Thalaivaa, and Bairavaa. His other releases includes Goko Mako, Gajendrudu and Indha Nilai Maarum.
