Surajkund International Crafts Mela is a mosaic of India’s diversity. It is a joyous celebration of colours, crafts, music & rhythm, art and culture at Surajkund in Faridabad, Haryana, during the first fortnight of each February.
The Mela is organized by the Surajkund Mela Authority & Haryana Tourism in collaboration with Union Ministries of Tourism, Textiles, Culture, and External Affairs.
The Mela celebrates the unique diversity of Indian traditions and culture in an ambiance, created to represent the ethos of rural India. Surajkund International Crafts Mela showcases some of the most exquisite handlooms and handicrafts of India. Handmade fabrics soaked in ethnic colors make an eye-catching display for the visitors.
The 37th Edition of the Surajkund International Crafts Mela is poised to write history as it will witness an unprecedented participation by foreign countries in a large number. With the participation of United Republic of Tanzania (SCO) as the ‘Partner Nation’ the event will witness colours and cultures from across the globe with countries like Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Uzbekistan Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey, Cambodia UAE to name a few. Similarly, Gujarat will participate as the ‘Theme State’ and spread their traditional vibes in this gargantuan, colourful and global platform.
