A blank canvas, a full palette and two hours to make something that ends up on your wall.
Acrylic Affairs is the classic. You get a stretched canvas, a set of acrylic paints and a brush, and you paint. Acrylics are the most forgiving medium there is, which is exactly why we use them. They dry fast, they cover mistakes, and you can paint straight over anything you are not happy with.
Our instructor takes you through the whole thing: choosing a reference and planning your composition, mixing colours so you are not stuck with what comes out of the tube, blocking in your base layers, and adding the highlights and detail that make a painting look finished. Reference images and outlines are on hand if you would rather not start from a blank canvas.

WHY PEOPLE BOOK THIS ONE
Because almost nobody has painted since school, and almost everybody wants to. There is no faster way to find out you can actually do it. Acrylics are quick, bold and forgiving, and two hours is enough to walk out with something you are genuinely pleased with.
WHO IT IS FOR
Complete beginners are welcome. Most people in the room have not held a brush in years. Good for solo bookings, friends, couples and parent and child pairs.
