A 2-Day Intensive Acting Workshop is designed to provide a transformative experience for all participants. Led by experienced mentor Vetri MV, it provides a perfect opportunity for those seeking to refine their craft in film/screen acting.
What to expect in this workshop?
Three elements: Focus on the three core elements of acting.
Clear Blockages: Through a series of games, activities, and improvisation, you will work to clear any blockages.
Emotions: You will gain a deeper understanding of the principles of acting and how to navigate layers of emotions.
Improvisation: By working through various improvisation techniques, you will learn how to navigate different situations, embody complex emotions, and develop your character while interacting with others on screen.
Overcome Limitations: Analyse your limitations and get personalised guidance to overcome them and take their performances to the next level.
Reality of industry: In addition to honing your acting skills, the workshop will also prepare you for the practical realities of the acting industry.

About Your Mentor:
Vetri MV is an Actor and Theatre Director with experience in both theatre and screen acting.
In theatre, he worked with Indianostrum in Pondicherry and has toured Paris, where he showcased his play at Theatre du Soleil. He has also directed theatre plays.
On the screen, Vetri gained recognition through his role in the popular Vijay TV series Kana Kanum Kalangal, and he has acted in various films. His most recent release is the movie Kannagi in 2024.
The key takeaway from this workshop will be a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of acting, enabling participants to perform with greater depth and authenticity. Drawing on his expertise in theatre, Vetri MV will demonstrate how theatre techniques can be effectively applied to film acting, providing a unique approach that enhances both craft and performance.
