“Learn to Perform” – Improve your Acting skill


The “Learn to Perform” Theatre Workshop is a structured, performance-oriented training program designed for aspiring actors who wish to develop confidence, stage presence, and a strong foundation in theatre acting.


This intensive one-month workshop focuses on practical learning through training an actor's body, voice and emotional awareness .

About the Trainer`s


Diwakar Naveen Diwakar is an accomplished theatre director, academician, and cultural practitioner known for his deep engagement with Indian theatre traditions and contemporary performance. A UGC-NET qualified scholar in Performing Arts (Theatre), he brings both rigorous academic insight and rich artistic sensibility to his work.




As a recipient of the prestigious Senior Fellowship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, he has conducted in-depth research in the field of theatre, focusing on themes such as indigenous performance practices, actor training, and the role of theatre in social transformation.




With 15 years of experience in training and directing stage productions across genres and languages, he has been called for a guest lecture and is visiting faculty in numerous Indian universities and performing arts institutions. His lectures often explore the intersection of theory and practice, engaging students in both academic discourse and performative exercises.

Dr. Manisha Malhotra is a multi-faceted theatre professional—an accomplished actor, writer, director, and trainer—who seamlessly integrates creative practice with academic rigor. With a Ph.D. in Theatre and UGC-NET JRF qualification, Dr. Manisha has made significant contributions to both the performance space and scholarly discourse in Indian theatre.


Formerly a lecturer at Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya (IKSVV), Khairagarh, India`s premier university for music and performing arts, Dr. Manisha has mentored students in acting, direction, and theatre theory, fostering a generation of critically engaged and technically skilled theatre practitioners.


As a theatre artist, she has directed and performed in a wide range of productions, from Indian classical and folk narratives to experimental and socially engaged contemporary plays. As a writer, she has contributed scripts, and critical essays, and as a trainer, has led workshops in acting, movement, and voice across institutions and cultural festivals.


Dr. Manisha Malhotra`s research articles have been published in reputed national and international journals, covering themes like actor training, Indian dramaturgy, performance aesthetics, gender in performance, and community-based theatre practices.
