Discover the rhythm, connection, and musicality of Bachata in this immersive two-day workshop by Dance Design. Designed for beginners and first-time dancers, the sessions introduce participants to Modern Bachata through footwork, partnerwork, technique, and musicality in a guided and approachable format.
Across four hours of guided learning, the workshop will help participants listen to Bachata music more closely through an instrument breakdown, recognise key sounds and move with greater musicality. With carefully selected songs, step-by-step practice and a supportive learning environment, the sessions are structured to build confidence gradually and make partner dancing feel joyful, accessible and natural.
The workshop concludes with a demo showcase, where participants will dance what they have learnt with support from Dance Design’s dancers. By the end of the second day, every couple on the floor will have the confidence to dance a complete Bachata song from start to finish.
