Alliance Literary Festival 2026 (ALF 2026) is anchored in the theme Her Story: Celebrating Nāri Shakti, positioning women at the centre of intellectual, cultural, scientific, and creative narratives. This edition foregrounds women as architects of knowledge, leadership, and social transformation across literature, philosophy, governance, public policy, media, entrepreneurship, activism, and the arts.
In an era of rapid technological change and cultural renegotiation, ALF 2026 reclaims history as a living archive that shapes the futures we imagine. The theme challenges long-standing silences around women’s labour, intellect, courage, and service, affirming women’s knowledge—ancient and contemporary—as essential to ethical progress, national resilience, and inclusive futures.
Hosted by Alliance University, the festival builds on a strong legacy of public-facing intellectual platforms, including ALF 2022, APLF 2022, the AI and Society Confest 2024, and ALF 2025. Past editions have featured leading voices such as Shashi Tharoor, Rajdeep Sardesai, Devdutt Pattanaik, Javed Akhtar, Usha Uthup, Kenny Sebastian, Shraddha Jain, Geetanjali Shree, Anil Kumble, and Vikram Sampath, reflecting the festival’s commitment to rigorous, accessible, and socially engaged dialogue. ALF 2026 continues this legacy, strengthening Alliance’s role as a hub of art, culture, and ideas while offering students direct engagement with distinguished thinkers across disciplines.
