ANKAHI DIARIES
Mithai, Memories & More
India is a beautiful blend of cultures, religions, rituals and traditions.
And what makes it even more special is that we dont always celebrate only the festivals we grew up with. We join in celebrations that belong to another community, another region, another tradition , simply because they are part of the beautiful, messy, colourful tapestry that is India.
But festivals arent always about joy.
For some, they bring back childhood memories, family traditions, the warmth of home and a deep sense of nostalgia.
For others, they might bring loneliness, grief, homesickness or memories theyd rather not revisit.
Some of us eagerly wait for a particular festival every year. Someone else might secretly dread it.
And thats okay. Because festivals mean different things to different people.
There are no right or wrong festival stories. No stories too big or too small.Just your story, your memories, your truth.
Come ready to listen, share, laugh, reminisce and perhaps even shed a tear or two. This is a space for stories to be heard without judgment and memories to be shared without expectations
