About The Event
"Anubhuti: An Evening of Indian Classical Santoor, Thumri, and Ghazals." We are honored to present a evening of sublime music featuring four exceptional artists.
Opening the evening, we have Divyansh Srivastava on Santoor, a disciple of Padmashri Pandit Bhajan Sopori and Pt. Abhay Rustum Sopori, who will enchant us with the ethereal sounds of this divine instrument. Following him, Swati Tiwari Srivastava, trained under Vidushi Shashwati Mandal and Vidushi Sunanda Sharma, will captivate us with her soulful vocal renditions of Thumri. Accompanying them, Sh. Ujith Udaya Kumar, a disciple of Ustad Rafiuddin Sabri, will bring rhythmic brilliance on the Tabla, and Sh. Lalit Sisodia, a disciple of Dr. Vinay Mishra, will provide melodic support on the Harmonium.
