Arghya Shakti Naad: The Spirit of Shakti – An all-woman ensemble.
Arghya Foundation brings together an all-woman ensemble, Arghya Shakti Naad, that celebrates women and their music.
The legendary Padma Vibhushan Dr. N. Rajam, along with her daughter Sangeeta Shankar and granddaughters Ragini Shankar and Nandini Shankar, will present their violin performance in the main segment – The Three Generations on Violin ensemble. Shri Ojas Adhiya will accompany them on the Tabla.
For the Vocal and Flute Duo segment, Smt. Saylee Talwalkar will perform on vocals and Debopriya Chatterjee on Flute. They will be accompanied by Shri Krushna Salunke on Pakhawaj, Sardar Harmeet Singh on Tabla, and Shri Sudhanshu Gharpure on the harmonium.
Arghya Shakti Naad is a presentation by Arghya Indian Classical Music and Fine Arts Foundation. The foundation aims to uplift the whole ambience of Indian classical music while exploring innovative and aesthetic forms of presentation. The foundation brings a unique blend of maestros and promising artists on a platform with an aim to foster an environment of growth, mentorship, and collaboration to uphold the tradition of Indian classical music.
