The road to Bangalore Open Air starts here.
Before the gates open. Before the riffs shake the festival grounds. Before Bangalore becomes the home of Indian metal for the weekend, we warm up the pit.
Welcome to the official Bangalore Open Air Warm-Up Party, bringing together five bands from five corners of the Indian underground for one night in Bengaluru.
This isn`t a tribute night.
This isn`t a playlist party.
This is five live bands, one room, and the Indian underground coming together before BOA.
THE LINEUP
MUTATIONAL MONKEY (SIKKIM)
Coming down from the Northeast, Mutational Monkey joins the Obsydian lineup representing Sikkim and its underground heavy-music scene.
THE BLEAK (ARUNACHAL PRADESH)
Arunachal enters the pit with The Bleak - bringing another voice from India`s Northeast to the Obsydian stage.
BLANK IDENTITY (BENGALURU)
Representing home turf, Blank Identity steps in for Bengaluru as the city`s underground gathers ahead of Bangalore Open Air.
VIDYUT (CHENNAI)
Chennai enters the equation with Vidyut, adding another city and another part of India`s heavy-music circuit to the night.
SEPTIC ISLE (HYDERABAD)
Hyderabad`s Septic Isle completes the five-city convergence, bringing the lineup together for one massive pre-BOA gathering.
FIVE BANDS. FIVE SCENES. ONE PIT.
Sikkim + Arunachal + Bengaluru + Chennai + Hyderabad.
Bangalore Open Air Warm-Up Party is about bringing scenes together, giving underground artists a platform, and building a stronger community around heavy music in India.
Different cities. Different sounds. Same underground.
And for one night, it all converges in Koramangala.
