Kickstart your weekend with a heady blend of blues and rock belted out by guitar legend Warren Mendonsa, who is bringing to stage his iconic solo project Blackstratblues. A respected Indie act that has matured like fine wine since its inception in 2006, its current line-up features exceptionally talented musicians such as Jai Row Kavi (Indus Creed, Tough On Tobacco, Karsh Kale) on drums, Beven Fonseca (Clinton Cerejo) on keyboards and Adi Mistry (Shankar Ehsaan Loy) on bass. Predominantly instrumental, their music consists of a blend of blues, rock & 70’s psychedelia with strong melodic and occasional electronic influences
Mendonsa, who has been a part of the Indie music scene for almost three decades, brings to the stage a glowing musical repertoire, having been worked in both India and New Zealand as a guitarist, songwriter, producer and recording engineer over the years and co-founded the seminal Indian rock band Zero.
