About The Event
The Cultural Centre’s first-ever mime performance, ‘Click’ is a tale of two powerful acts. While the first story is inspired by Kevin Carter’s iconic photo ‘The Vulture and the Starving Child’ which depicts how an artist’s own set of values and emotions overpower him. The second story, on the other hand, showcases how photography as an art helps an artist understand the emotions of his mother – who has an incredibly dark past.
‘Click’ features Ayush Sanjeev, Mayuresh Khole, Purva Phadke, Sanjana Tathare, Anisha Sabnis, Siddharth Akhade, Parthsarathi Diconda, Deepak Rathod, Gaurav Kalushte, Anushka Gite, Komal Mayekar, Gauri Karlekar, Prateeksha Phadke, Ketan More and Jeet Trivedi.
Written and directed by Vipul Ulhas Kale, the play is produced by Nikhil Kale. Also part of the crew is Aditya Kale (music), Sangram Shinge (music operator), Yugant Patil (lights), and Prafull Gaikwad (manager).
