Saagara - Beats of the Ocean

Polish clarinetist Waclaw Zimpel has played all over Europe, including in several European music festivals. Zimpel's band Saagara is multi-faceted and play jazz-based music with an electronic support band or blend their compositions with complex poly-rhythms from Carnatic classical music. Saagara converges the feel and expression of Zimpel's compositions with sympathetic rhythms from his band to create a beautifully textured music. The band will also perform some well-known pieces at Converging Streams.
