Blending live music with spoken-word narration, this immersive mehfil unfolds through ghazals, Sufi melodies and timeless songs that explore love, nostalgia and human connection. Each performance flows seamlessly into the next, drawing the audience into an intimate shared experience.
Vocalist Srushti brings together ghazal, Sufi, and contemporary acoustic traditions through a musical practice marked by depth and versatility. Currently training under Ajoy Chakrabarty, she lends a nuanced and deeply emotive voice to the performance.
She is joined by Shubhra Agnihotri on vocals, Akshay Jadhav on tabla, Omkar Agnihotri on harmonium and keyboard, Punit Lotia on acoustic guitar, Jay Supekar on handsonic and Navdha Jagtap on santoor. With live instrumentation, carefully woven transitions and the warmth of an old-world mehfil, the show becomes a heartfelt journey through the many ways emotions travel from one heart to another.
