Band members: Rida and The Musical Folks

Rida Gatphoh, Peter Marbaniang, Shaun Nongrum, Shaun Morehead Nonghulu, Russell Warjri

These folks are in search of the ideal way to create a meaningful experience while retaining a high degree of artistic integrity. The stories they share are open-ended to interaction spontaneous giving one an infinite range of expression. With 'Musical Nature' they are able to work around traditional folk sounds and blend it with contemporary elements to create the musical style. All their instruments except for the acoustic guitar are traditional and hand crafted by the musicians themselves. These instruments are crude and raw in its structure and sound, and this is one thing they would like to retain.
