The historic story of the Spaniard king in the South American city El Dorado is well-known! The ballet, the story of a beautiful girl who goes in search of happiness upon the last message of her dead mother, shows her voyage through beautiful music and dance. El Dorado, literally meaning ‘The Golden’, or ‘Place of Gold’ is symbolic of the home of her happiness, depicted in the story’s theatrical climax.
The play is the vision of Anita Kulkarni, Founder/Artistic Director, Renu Forum for the Arts, USA. This vision is brought to life via breathtaking dance designs by Mumbai-based Odissi exponent Daksha Mashruwala. The 90-minute musical is sure to enchant audiences with its aesthetics, music sequences, and message. Brought to you as a Renu Forum for the Arts and Kaishiki Nrityabhasha artistic collaborative, in the dance styles of Stylized Odissi and Folk.
