Walking through a Songline is developed by the National Museum of Australia and Mosster Studio with support from the Australian Government’s Visions of Australia program and the National Museum of Australia’s donor community.
Walking Through a Songline is a dramatic digital art experience in which audiences can immerse themselves in ancient Australian First Nations knowledge through cutting-edge technology. Based on National Museum of Australia’s award-winning exhibition Songline: Tracking the Seven Sisters, this First Nations-led exhibition takes the audience on a journey along the epic Seven Sisters Dreaming tracks across the western and central deserts of Australia. The experience provides insight into how an entire continent has been mapped for and by First Nations people over millennia.
The exhibition is presented by the Australian Government, the Museum of Solutions, the National Museum of Australia, Mosster Studios and Unbox Cultural Futures.
