Festival of Opera

The Chromatics is an ensemble of talented & qualified singers who have taken classical music seriously. Over the years, Chromatics has performed concerts showcasing individual voices through arias from operas, oratorios, lieder and Italian art songs. 

These periodic shows by Chromatics play a vital role in Chennai’s rich and diverse cultural landscape. Today, Chromatics is one among very few ensembles dedicated to presenting popular and other rarely performed opera masterworks. By doing so, we make these operas, accessible to a wide audience and provide a stimulating and inspirational environment for artists and audiences alike. Produced and presented under the banner, ‘The Festival of Opera’, Chromatics have staged many successful concerts across South India to rave reviews.
