Just as there is Swargalok (heaven), Pataal-lok (netherworld), and Ihalok (the earthly world), in the same way, this is our world of young artists who love folk music — “Folk Lok.”
In this program, which blends folk music and folk theatre, we are presenting some old traditional compositions from Maharashtra’s glorious heritage, along with a few new original creations, all in a meaningful and dramatic format.
Tradition is not just something to look back on; it is something to be re-experienced through the eyes of the new generation. And the concept that brings this experience alive is “Folk Lok.”
