As a forest officer, during last three decades, Dr. Gobind Sagar Bhardwaj, IFS, travelled in many wilderness areas, including looking for tigers in Tiger Reserves, tracking in remote areas of North-East for birding, snorkeling in Andamans for corals, camel riding in hot desert of Thar for sighting Great Indian Bustard or looking for Tibetan Gazelle in cold desert of Changthang in Ladakh. His long-standing desire of going to Arctic and Antarctic was fulfilled when he visited Arctic in the year 2023 and Antarctica in the year 2025. This talk is a sort of diary of his travel in both the extreme areas.
