Soul India- Aptly titled ‘Soul India,’ the concert features music from various corners of India, which is a unique blend of Film songs, Fusion, Ghazals, Thumri & Folk Music interwoven with each other. The Concert begins with folk, flows into Ghazals, then seamlessly incorporates Film songs & dissolves into fusion Music. Soul India is indeed a meandering river giving shades of each style at every turn and twist. It also brings to light the many forms of Indian music through one of its most versatile proponents in Hariharan. Hariharan’s Son, Akshay Hariharan, who is a music producer, also sings with Mr.Hariharan in his Colonial cousins songs along with a few Bollywood numbers.“ Soul India” is a blend of Indian and western instruments namely, KeyBoards, Drums, Guitars, English Flute, Saxophone, Tabla and Indian Flute.
