Harpriya Bains is a mom-turned-comedian who takes on patriarchy, societal expectations, and the chaos of desi motherhood with sharp wit and relatable humour. Drawing from everyday life as a Punjabi mom raising two Gen-Z daughters, her comedy hilariously exposes the absurd pressures faced by women in Indian households.
This is a trial show, where Harpriya will test out fresh new material along with audience favourites from her hit solo show “Carry On Mummy.”
Fresh off a successful India Tour 2025, Carry On Mummy has been performed over 250 times across 30+ cities, at comedy clubs, corporate events, private shows, and internationally in London and Nairobi. Loved for its honesty, warmth, and laugh-out-loud moments, the show has struck a chord with audiences everywhere.
Seven years into comedy, Harpriya’s debut YouTube video “Carry On Mummy” (2023) went viral, cementing her place as one of the most relatable voices in Indian stand-up.
Married to an army officer for 23 years and officially unheard at home, she decided—mid-life crisis and all—to find strangers who might actually listen… and hopefully laugh. 😄
