HCL has been organizing HCL Concerts for 24 years, dedicated to nurturing and promoting talent rooted in the glorious heritage of Indian music and dance. Concerts under the umbrella of HCL Concerts are organized in Delhi NCR, Lucknow, Nagpur, Madurai, Chennai and Bengaluru in India and New York & San Francisco in the US regularly throughout the year. Over 1500 artists have graced this platform and have contributed towards reinvigorating the Indian performing arts.
This time, HCL Concerts is honored to present three generations of Sarod symphonies, undisputed Sarod master Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, his sons Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash, and grand-sons Zohaan Ali Bangash and Abeer Ali Bangash, who will be performing their debut recital.
Sarod master Ustad Amjad Ali Khan unlocked his god-gifted talent at six when he gave his first-ever performance. Since then, the Sarod Ustad has won numerous accolades, including a Grammy nomination. He recently coveted the Global Music Awards under the Gold Medal category for their outstanding contribution to the global music industry.
His sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash represent the 7th generation of a musical lineage. They have performed globally, including at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Smithsonian, and WOMAD festivals on many continents.
10-year-old twins, Zohaan and Abeer Ali Bangash, sons of Ayaan Ali Bangash, released their first single called `Our Love` in 2020.
