About The Event
The first edition of Home Brewed brings you 3 acts who fit that bill to the T. The three acts of the night display a modern-day sound that draws from Indian society and culture, mixing Modern, Carnatic, South Indian and Hindustani influences. In recent years, Chennai has conceptually lacked a space that supports live independent music. Home Brewed hopes to fill that gap by showcasing a mix of local talent that surpasses ideas of genres, culture.
The acts for the evening are:
● Siennor (Chennai)
Siennor is a musician/songwriter/producer who has been breaking new grounds with his compositions. He is the trendiest face in Tamil Indie music.
● PARAM (Mysore)
Param is a Hindustani rock act from Mysore, India. The band is notable for its seamless amalgamation of the traditional rock and Hindustani classical music
● Jatayu (Chennai)
Jatayu is a jazz-rock quartet from Chennai, India. The band weaves together instrumental Indian classical music with jazz, blues, rock, and funk.
