Introduce your little one to a beginner-friendly crochet workshop by Varahaa Inc where children explore yarn craft, coordination, and creativity through playful, hands-on learning.
‘Hooked on Crochet’ invites children into the warm and creative world of crochet through an immersive workshop led by two young sisters from Ahmedabad. The session starts with finger crocheting exercises that introduce participants to looping, tension, and yarn control in a simple and engaging way. As children grow more confident, they move on to learning foundational crochet stitches using needles, carefully guided step by step through the process.
Alongside building fine motor skills and coordination, the workshop also encourages patience, focus, and creative expression in a relaxed group setting. Participants get to take home the artwork they create during the session.
Founded in 2017, Varahaa Inc curates mentor-led workshops and learning experiences across art, performance, languages, coding, robotics, debate, creative writing, and more, with a focus on thoughtfully designed programming for children and adults.
