JOGAKBO WORKSHOP
What if scraps of fabric could become something beautiful instead of being thrown away?
Jogakbo is a traditional Korean textile art that brings together small pieces of fabric through careful arrangement and stitching. Each piece may be different in colour, texture or shape, but when they come together, they create a balanced composition that feels both simple and striking.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of Jogakbo and explore how to arrange fabric pieces into your own design. You will be guided through the process of joining the pieces, working with lines and patterns, and creating a finished textile piece that carries the charm of something made slowly by hand.
What to Expect:
A beginner-friendly introduction to Korean Jogakbo
Learning basic fabric joining and stitching techniques
Exploring colour, texture, shape and composition
Creating your own patchwork-inspired design
A handmade Jogakbo piece to take home
No previous sewing or textile experience is required. Come slow down, work with your hands and discover how little pieces, when brought together thoughtfully, can become
something whole.
