
Kathakar - International Storytellers Festival is India`s first and only oral storytelling festival. The 14th edition will bring curious tales from the desert with folktales performed from Gujarat, Rajasthan and the middle east by Paola Balbi (Italy/UAE), Michal Malinowski (Poland), Sikandar Khan (India), Sanchi Peswani (India). Mohit Chauhan, Imtiaz Ali and Shantanu Moitra will join for a unique session of Kissey, Kahani and Music moderated by Prarthana Gahilote. Mohd. Rafiq Langa and group will perform traditional folk music of Rajasthan in the Langa-Manghaniyar style. Curious Tales from the Desert by Shaguna Gahilote and Prarthana Gahilote will be released at the occasion.
