About The Event
Kerala`s indie scene is coming to Pondicherry for one night only. Three acts will share one stage for an evening of all-original music, with songs in Malayalam, English and Tamil.
The Kerala Rocks India Tour is a fully independent, DIY tour taking the sound of Kerala across 11 cities and 11 shows from October to December 2026. Pondicherry is the fourth stop, after Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Every song you hear is written and performed by the artists on stage.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
THAKARA (Malayalam Pop Rock)
Thakara has been part of Kerala`s music scene for 14 years. The band is known for big singalong choruses, high-energy live sets and songs like "Puttu Paattu" that Malayalis everywhere know by heart. Their music mixes rock and folk with everyday Malayali storytelling: loud, fun and full of home. This is their first-ever India tour, and now they`re bringing it to Pondicherry.
EVERGREEN (English Alternative Rock)
Evergreen is a six-piece alternative rock band with layered guitars, driving rhythms and a live sound made for big, loud rooms.
CHARLIE NOW (Multilingual Indie Singer-Songwriter)
Charlie Now is a solo artist who writes and sings in several languages, drawing on R&B and soul. His songs are intimate and honest, and they hit just as hard as a full band.

WHY THIS SHOW MATTERS
No big label or corporate backer is behind this tour. A 14-member crew of musicians and friends is travelling across the country by train and road to bring Kerala`s independent music to new cities. Every ticket you buy goes directly toward keeping this tour on the road.
Pondy, this one`s for you. Locals, students, Auroville folks and every Malayali in town, bring your friends and bring your voice. You`ll need it. It`s a Friday, so start your weekend loud.
GOOD TO KNOW
- The venue charges a cover of Rs. 500 per person at the gate. It is fully redeemable on food and beverages.
- The show ends by 11:30 PM as per venue timings, so please arrive early.
- Please carry a valid government photo ID. Entry follows the venue`s age and entry policies.
- If you book a student pass, your valid student ID will be checked at the gate.
- Entry is subject to the venue`s rules and the organiser`s discretion.
