About The Event
Pulling out all the stops, young pop sensation Kiara Chettri brings her soaring vocals and original songs to the stage, backed by a dynamic live band.
A new generation of Indian pop takes centre stage as singer-songwriter Kiara Chettri presents an evening of original music shaped by soaring vocals, candid lyrics and the energy of a live band. Moving fluidly between dreamy pop, pop-rock and the singer-songwriter genre, her set spans songs such as Cold, I Don’t Wanna Be Friends, Why and No One’s Baby, each revealing a different facet of her evolving sound.
At 17, Kiara became the first and youngest Indian solo artist to reach the No. 1 and No. 2 positions on the World Indie Music Charts with Why, which was also submitted for Grammy consideration. Named the youngest music honouree on the Hindustan Times HT City 30 Under 30 list in 2022, she has since carved out her own path as an independent artist with global ambitions and a distinctly Indian point of view.
Trained in music since the age of four, the 22-year-old writes, composes, sings, performs and plays multiple instruments. For this performance, she is joined by Akhil Sahni on keys, Nathan Nainan on drums, Aradhya Khurana on bass and Rahul Bhandari on guitar, creating a full-band setting for her bold take on Indian pop.
