About The Event
Manish used to be a Commander in the Indian Navy before he decided
to become a Stand up Comic sometime in 2014. An Officer and a
Gentleman, he has some very funny tales to tell from his life
experience. His style is full of unprecedented stories blended with wit
and humour.
His Facebook page & YouTube channel have over 2,50,000 followers,
with multiple videos having over 3 million plus organic viewership. His
jokes have also been aired on almost all FM stations in the past. His
popularity has fetched him shows in Delhi NCR and he has performed
solo at multiple locations across the country such as Mumbai,
Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar,
Ranchi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, etc. Till date he has done over 300 solo
shows, hosted over a 100 shows & many more open mics.
Manish was a regular at the erstwhile Canvas Laugh Club at Mumbai,
Gurgaon & NOIDA and also at the Taj properties across India.
He was an integral part of a very successful comedy fest held at
Auckland, NZ & Sydney, Australia in Mar 18.
Manish has spoken at Josh Talks, 15 TEDx conclaves & is also a
regular with corporate gigs and has performed for IamSMEofIndia,
Madhyaam, Tata Sky, Tanishq, Tata Motors, VLCC, Dell India,
McKinsey India, Goldman Sachs, Cummins, ONGC, various
conferences, etc.
He is also an aspiring model & actor and has till date, four TVC and
digital ad & 3 web series under his belt. He has featured in Axis Bank,
Tanishq & BMW ad which can be seen online. He has also featured in
Wild Wild Punjab which is streaming on Netflix.
He has also performed at various Naval establishments & goes by the
name “The Knotty Commander”.
He also toured NZ for his solo shows in Jul 2019 where he performed in
Auckland and Wellington. He also co-hosted the Kiwi Indian Hall of
Fame awards night where he was facilitated by the PM of NZ, Ms
Ardern.
During the ongoing pandemic, he has done over 100 online shows on
Zoom & many more for Corporates; NTT, Accenture, PepsiCo, GSK,
Horiba, HP, Globant, Pyramid IT, etc as some of them.
