KRISHNAGRI – The World of Krishna Through Radha's Eyes
KRISHNAGRI is an exceptional Kathak and Chhau dance theatre production that elegantly narrates the eternal love, unwavering devotion, and sacred bond shared between Shri Krishna and Radha, as perceived through Radha's perspective.
This 75-minute theatrical experience masterfully integrates classical and folk dance, evocative music, profound storytelling, and impressive stagecraft, immersing audiences in the mystical world of Vrindavan. Each scene vividly portrays Krishna's playful Leelas and the deep sentiments of divine love and separation, brought to life through elegant choreography, captivating music, exquisite costumes, and atmospheric lighting.
Produced by Rupa Gupta, the production features original music composed by Pt. Jwala Prasad and choreography by Swapan Mazumdar, with Kathak Thumris meticulously crafted by Richa Gupta and Manoj Gangani. The performance is further enriched by the heartfelt & soulful vocal contributions of Shri Suresh Wadkar, Shrimati Kavita Krishnamurthy, Pt. Jwala Prasad, Guru Ghanshyam Gangani, and Mrs. Rupa Gupta, complemented by the breathtaking light design by Milland Shrivastav.
