GuruSmruthi 2026, presented by Swara Sowrabha (R), is a prestigious classical music festival to be held on 2nd August 2026 starting at at Chowdiah Memorial Hall. As part of the festival, renowned Harikatha exponent Visakha Hari will present a special devotional discourse on “Shri Krishna Compositions by Vaggeyakaras.”
Through a unique blend of storytelling, classical music, philosophy, and devotion, the discourse will explore the lives and compositions of saint-composers who glorified Lord Krishna through their timeless musical creations. The presentation promises to offer audiences an enriching spiritual and cultural experience while highlighting the enduring legacy of Krishna bhakti in Indian classical traditions.
Dedicated to honouring the legendary 7-string violin maestro Sri R.R. Keshavamurthy, Gurusmruthi continues to celebrate India’s rich artistic heritage by bringing together eminent artistes, scholars, students, patrons, and rasikas.
