KUKNKG is an interactive evening of Urdu Shayari sprinkled with anecdotes & explanations in English/Hindi by Noor. She also recites the works of classic Urdu shayars (e.g. Faiz sahaab, Jaun Eliya ji) that made her fall in love with this beautiful language. True to her style, the set is vulnerable, light-hearted at times, intense at others and cheeky!
About Noor
Seema ‘Noor’ is an Urdu shaayira who writes and performs her own poetry as well as the works of old greats such as Faiz, Jaun Elia, etc. at sold-out Mehfils across the country. With a diploma in Urdu from Mumbai University, Noor conducts diverse learning sessions for those looking to simply acquaint themselves with Urdu or explore the depths of its ‘jazbaat’ via much-loved ghazals.
