
About The Event
Set against the backdrop of the Partition of India in 1947, Last Train From India*follows three best friends: a Muslim boy, a Hindu girl, and a Sikh boy, whose lives are forever altered when borders are suddenly drawn between them. Taking place over the course of a single night, the production blends theatre and spoken word poetry to tell a story of friendship, love, displacement, and belonging.
Through its universal themes of love, loss, identity, and hope, the production has resonated with audiences across cultures, transforming a deeply personal history into a shared human experience.
