Legends for Laadli

Population First, a social impact organization, established in the year 2002 in Mumbai-India, has been steadfastly working for an informed and balanced media portrayal of multiple gender issues, through its Laadli initiative. The overall purpose of all activities is two-fold: 

(i) increased awareness of gender issues among the media persons and 

(ii) improved media reportage and programming from a gender perspective. Population First is organizing a fundraising event to support this initiative of Laadli. 

Aptly titled event Legends for Laadli will feature, the legendary Sitar maestro Ustad Shujaat Khan on 5th November 2019 at Tata Theater.
