Switzerland's oldest orchestra, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra (LSO) has gained international standing that extends beyond its home territory. Hailed for the natural ease of his conducting,
James Gaffigan continues to attract international attention and is one of the most outstanding American conductors working today. The Guardian refers to Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili as being 'justifiably hailed as one of the great pianists of the future'. On their tour to Mumbai, the LSO, Gaffigan and Buniatishvili will perform works by Weber, Grieg, Beethoven and Dvorak.
