Malaysia Vasudevan, born in Malaysia on June 15, 1944, was a legendary playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Known for his versatile voice, he sang over 8,000 songs across various genres, working with top music directors like Ilaiyaraaja, and became the voice behind iconic songs for stars such as Rajinikanth and Sivaji Ganesan. His contributions earned him numerous accolades, including the Kalaimamani award.
In celebration of his 80th birthday, Abbas Cultural, Rambutan Media Works & Virtuous Loop Entertainment will present MV80 a tribute on October 12th at Kamarajar Arangam. His son, Yugendran Vasudevan, will lead the event, singing his father’s timeless hits. Accompanying him will be renowned Performers such as SPB Charan, Srinivas, Unni Krishnan, Devan Ekambaram, Senthil Das, Mukesh, Shenbagaraj, Narayanan Ravishankar, Gokul (Dubai), and Dr. Ravi (Dubai), among others.
