
WRITING FOR THE STAGE with Abhishek Majumdar
Writing for the Stage with Abhishek Majumdar is a workshop for writers which centers on we will write about 10 mins of it in the workshop . Participants will utilize the instructor's signature framework, "The Personal, Political, and Philosophical Play," which is designed to help unearth potent themes and establish strong dramatic structure. The day begins with a foundational exercise, and over the course of the session, the group will move through a structured, step-by-step development process. The workshop culminates in a cold reading of the completed drafts, allowing writers to hear their work come to life immediately. This is explicitly a methods-based class, focusing on repeatable techniques for dramatic composition.
Time duration - 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a forty-five-minute working lunch break.

For selections, applicants must demonstrate prior professional work/credits. This includes published work such as a short story, novel, poem, play, or film.
